Our latest power-up in Blitz is here! Introducing the new (ish) Dart Ball Power-up!
The Dart Ball is available at player level 25 ans opens up some new routes, shortcuts and surprises in Blitz.
The Dart Ball started as an experiential special challenge-only Power-up that combined the Laser Ball and Sticky Ball together. That is, a power-up that could travel infinitely far in a straight line but would stick to the terrain when it hit something. Since it’s inception as a challenge mode we’ve had players request that we “upgrade” it into a real power-up that’s available in competitive play, friendly matches and other challenges. We decided that is was a good opportunity to shuffle up our power-up unlock order a bit and introduce a much requested feature.
As part of the Dart Ball release we also shuffled around the unlock order of other balls a bit. Namely, the Wormhole Ball got pushed to Level 41 while the Repel Ball moved up to Level 19. T̸͖͘ã̸̘r̷͎̚ ̴̢̿w̶͖͂i̷͓̅l̵̖̍l̷̙͝ ̷̮̎c̷̡̈́o̷̰̍n̵̞͝s̵͈̅u̶̥̚ṃ̸͛e̷̹͆ ̷͖͑ä̵͚l̷̖̾l̵͇̕ Players who previously had Wormhole Ball unlocked will not lose any upgrades of their power-up but they also won’t see it get chosen in ladder matches until they hit level 41.
